I beat Captain 5-3. His deck was REALLY interesting. I thought I was going to win easily when It was 4-0, on the 5th turn or so :P. He then shut me out for a while, matching each of my moves with the perfect card.

He played ANB at the best possible time which was amazing, I would have won for sure the next turn. It ended up if his deck was 7 cards bigger, mostly on defense, I would have been destroyed. All I had left was AOCP (no purple characters) and Zeal (Non Negateable, but he had a large band that I was worried about. I would have used it to discard KOT in a territory so I could use an offense band and cross my fingers).

Really interesting deck. It kinda seemed like a Hero-Lite, but none I've ever seen before.

Yeah It was the best game I'v played in a while. Thing is speed decks hurt a little bit cause they have so much offense that I don't quite have enough deffence. if you had had a normal balanced deck you would have probably been history lol.

@ Soul Seeker and Tsavong Lah - Raven was the first to challenge me this week.  I'll only be accepting OTS challenges until that game is complete.  If we happen to be on at the same time cool.  If not, I'll probably play someone else.

@ Soul Seeker - I think it's a bad idea to list challenges on the front page as though they are official when they haven't been accepted yet by one of the parties involved.  It's likely to make a person feel obligated to play the challenge when in fact they are not.  If it had only happened once I'd assume it was a mistake but it's happened a couple times now.

I'm not declining RR's (beings I've played my first official challenge already), I was just wondering why 2 challenges to the same person were official at the same time.

They aren't unless you choose to accept them.

Both my challenges were listed as official when I only accepted the first one. Its not a problem at this point, I'm just wondering why because it might get hectic in the future if this is the case.

SS: Yes, I'm playing RR; so leave that up there. I was just curious about the challenges.

It's not so much a mistake as it is me not paying attention.  At the start of the week, a flood of challenges roll in.  So I copy and put them down as I remember them.  It's okay if someone wants to refuse the second challenge.  I'll eventually catch up and revise it.  That is why I was willing to cut Sauce from the RR challenge, but then he said it was alright.  So I left it up.

As for me and you, Gabe, then I will just keep an eye out for you because Raven typically doesn't play his challenges until like Saturday.

After an epic battle with Prof
I totally agree with that description.  I lost (for the 6th straight game), but it was a ton of fun.  We both went all the way through our decks.  I was down to my last hero and he was down to his last couple cards in his hand.  I went in and used my last GE to take LS #4.  He did sneaky stuff to get to #3.  I made a last desperate play to try to get some stuff back that would allow me to get the win, but he blew it up using the last cards in his hand.  I thought I had the game stuck at 4-3.

But RR pulled some extremely unorthodox plays using 3 different arts, 3 different heroes, and the same enhancement twice (all coming from a person who was decked out with no cards in their hand remember) to get to 5 for the win.

All of this on top of seeing a cool way to get a free UN for the first time.  Let's just say I learned a lot that game, and had a blast doing it.

Sir Nobody defeated me 5-4 in a pretty good game. Fast paced yet still entertaining.

I beat RR 5-2. Not much to say. I didn't get any "good cards" on my initial draw, just tons of drawing.

Gifts on the first turn
Hur, First Fruits, Feast of Trumpets on the second turn
Pentecost on the 4th turn
Blah Blah Blah

I completely agree with that as well.  What is with me and epic games lately?  I thought this one was almost over and then all of a sudden it was like we started over.  I've never actually had a game like that before on RTS, and it was all thanks to Captain's very unorthodox deck.  It is in the early stages, but watch out for it once he finishes.

And since I think Caleb still has a slot, I'll challenge him.

Andy and I played our challenge tonight.  I won 5-2.  He got his NJ but not SoG, so now he wants to take NJ out of his deck.  Someone please tell him that would be a mistake.
