True, but that doesn't mean that everyone has to be in the tourney.  I played as many games or more this past week and none were for a tourney or contest.  I also got to play three new people I'd never played before.  I thoroughly enjoyed that. :)
That is a good point.  You are great about being online fairly regularly and always glad to play anyone brave enough to try :)  But I know that many of the other people in the tournament (including myself) seem to have been on much more regularly since the tournament started.  So for those people who need that little extra incentive to be around, I think it is a good idea to participate.

I'm also going to put up some prizes for the next round of the tournament.
Once again, your generosity is awesome.  One of my first memories of you was giving away your national championship prize packs to kids around the room, and that continues to be your MO.

So many challenges. I'll try to get them all in. I'll be busy this week, but I'll try. Thanks everyone for the challenges! And, if someone of a higher level of play(RR, BrianGabe, Stamp, Prof., etc) could play me outside the tourney I'd appreciate it. I need to test out just at least once my deck.

diff one. Much different, not even close to the same strategy. So you won't know what to expect. =)

can't now though. Going to watch my friend play volleyball. :)

I was blessed with the good draw this time and finally beat Fireninja 5-3.  It was a great game as always, and I look forward to many more games in the tourney next month :)

Here are the prizes for the next round of the tournament.  I believe the new round begins Monday!

Third place gets their choice of one of the following cards:  :)

Pentectost
Water to Wine
Bartimaeus
Jairus
Frog Demons
Chastisement of the Lord
The Strong Angel (K)
Unholy Writ
Joseph in Prison

Second place can choose one of the third place prizes or any of the following:  :D

A Child is Born
Thorn in the Flesh
Harvest Time (promo)
Chariot of Fire (promo)
Wrath of Satan

First place can choose one of the second or third place cards or any one of the following:  ;D

Walking on Water
Elijah
Mary's Prophetic Act
Lost Soul (anti-burial) Gal 3:13

I have multiple copies of these so more than one person can choose the same prize if they wish.  Once Soul Seeker has announced the winners I will have them pm me their choice and their address.

Walking on Water - nats promo
Elijah - nats promo
Mary's Prophetic Act - nats promo
Lost Soul (anti-burial) Gal 3:13 - AW rare! ;)

Naw I thank gabe very much for putting up his own cards on this. One question, what if we want one of the lower prizes but we get higher than it? Like Unholy writ is 3rd, but we get second and want UW?

Second place can choose one of the third place prizes or any of the following:  :D

First place can choose one of the second or third place cards or any one of the following:  ;D

Does that make sense?  For example, 1st place can choose any card from the 1st place list, the second place list or the 3rd place list so they get to choose from any card available.

Yes, but it shouldn't matter.  All three people can choose the same card if they pick from the 3rd place list.

I have multiple copies of these so more than one person can choose the same prize if they wish.

I understand.  You were excited and looked at the lists, then glossed everything else over.  :)

I'm feeling a little glossy today too.  ;)

you can't Caleb....he only has one game left and that's against ME...for 1st place or a three way tie for second (for me anyway).

Not to rain on your parade, but I can't take that challenge either....I have played 4th, 1st.2 and 1st.1
(aka:  I played the top three people this week to fill my challenges up.)

i'd like to unjoin for the reason is since there are prizes involved it's not exactly worth playing in the tournament anymore

and cause i'm worried i'll feel jealous and beat myself even harder for how low my ranking is

Seriously?
Generally, prizes have the opposite effect on people!

Thanks for your generosity Gabe!   Looks like I won at the wrong time!   :D

Of course, I hope it doesn't seem suspicious that I won my own tournament. ;)    I really did win my games....ask all my competitors!   8)
