beat Prof Playland in an Epic game 5-2

Was that a tournament game?  This would indicate to me that it wasn't, in which case there's no reason to post the results here.

P.S.  xCaleBx, I already challenged SS for my 3rd game for this week.  But next week, I'm all yours :)

Red and me played a game, i Won 5-2. He played pretty well, but my deck was a little advanced for him probably. I liked his deck, and with some work, he'll be a strongh contender in the future. =)

I played xcalebx, and lost, 5-4 in a quick, rather tasteless game without any clash or suspense. He had garden Tomb which never let me block, he didn't draw defense, but he also didn't draw ls till turn 6(yeah, go RTS, right?  :-\) And even then he played sog, nj and burial to get rid of them all. I then played hopper on the next turn, and then played HT. Those were my only two ls. He then decided to draw one more ls, which was the demon shuffler(yay).

In addition, I drew 4 ls on the first draw, then once those were gone another three(that made all of them) and he won with those. I should have won if he would have drawn at least one ls in the first six turns, but of course RTS wasn't about to allow him to do that, right?

Seriously, who has had a good game in like the last month on RTS? SS, could you permit people to play other ways, like aim, hamachi, in person(you never know), etc? I'm pretty much fed up with RTS, and may even boycot soon. It's not helping me improve. It's only helping me know if I got a good draw or not. Games aren't very exciting(a few are, but not ver many), it's not helping me improve, it's frustrating to waste my time either being able to do completely nothing or totally dominating due to nothing actually done by me. To be honest, it's pretty dissapointing.  :-\

I hate to be a proponet of things I don't agree with, but try prof's triple reset. Personally it's all in your mind...

No lost souls in six turns, and me drawing 4 on the initial draw is all in my mind? That looked pretty real to me... :)

Yeah, but overall, RTS is the best way to play and having a consistant bad draw is your mind, which is what i was eluding to.

Fireninja, your complaints regarding RTS don't belong here.  Once again, if you want to start a rant about something open a new thread.  This one is for tournament challenges and results.

Good and bad draws happen in card games.  Learn to overcome it and/or lose gracefully. ;)

mebbe he's mad he lost to me  ;D that brings happy thoughts

@FN:You realize the point of Garden Tomb is to kill your defense so you can't block...thats the strategy  ::)

No need to be so insulting. I was posting to list the score of mine and Caleb's game. The RTS comment was just a "p.s.", not the reason I posted. My post would still be there without it.

Back on topic, I cannot play at all till maybe Sunday, and even that is quite questionable, due to a debate tournament starting tomorrow and ending early Sunday. See you all next Sunday!  :)

I challenged Tsavong Lah to an OTS.  He buried my entire defense on the bottom of my deck but I drew SoG and he didn't so I managed to win 5-2.

soul seeker just beat me 5-0 using an Arianna for every rescue attempt. That amused me even if I was bummed about a bad draw. :D

.. I'll try to play the game, but chances are I can't.

Tomorrow I have school and a game night and Saturday I have a tournament and then I have to go to Iowa; the place I'll be trapped without a computer! :(

What time zone are you in? The only times I would be able to play would be in the next 3 hours and/or tomorrow from 3:30 - 5 central time.

If you have one of those time spots open, please PM me :). If not, there isn't much I can do about it :/

I played a riveting game with 77Matthew.

It was 5-4 in his favor, but I am angry at my stupidity >:(. It was 4-4 and I made a RA with something (I dont' remember) banded to King Amaziah and CTB. Then I realized... I forgot to use the wanderer! I should of exchanged it, but I wasted Amaziah's SA and my last turn to make a BC (he had first round protect and female only out :/). If I had payed attention, I would have won! (He said he couldn't of defended)

I beat him in our second game though, so that was cool but that doesn't count toward the tournament >;(
