Well tonight had a long awaited game with 99, where the deck had a solid victory over a hero-lite defense of doom.  That puts the final count at 29-9 (76%).  Considering the following quote from National Champion, Tim Maly, I guess that is pretty good.  And so it is time to show the deck to the world, and let everyone know that contrary to popular belief, Red is NOT dead.
...keep in mind that even the best of players with the best decks still only win about 80% of their games...

Cards in deck: 56
Lost Souls: 8 I actually think I should switch some of these for RoA LSs that I don't have yet
   Lost Soul (anti-burial)
   Lost Soul (Color Guard)
   Lost Soul (female only)
   Lost Soul (hopper)
   Lost Soul (N.T. only)
   Lost Soul (revealer)
   Lost Soul (shuffler)
   Lost Soul (Wanderer)

Lamb Dominants: 4 the 3 necessaries, and HT since this deck tries to get to 5 before the opp, and can't wait for LS to appear
   Angel of the Lord
   Harvest Time
   New Jerusalem
   Son of God

Grim Reaper Dominants: 2 took out common ones like FA and Burial since they get stopped a lot
   Christian Martyr
   Destruction of Nehushtan

Fortresses: 4
   Assyrian Camp
Jerusalem Tower so many people are playing deck discard after Tim Mierz' Nats victory
Kingdoms of the World mainly to stop CTB, which also seems to be popular
Wall of Protection the other half of stopping CTB, as well as all other sneaky banding or side battle stuff

Multi-Color Sites: 1
   Dragon Raid

Blue Sites: 1
   Hormah

Purple Sites: 1
Assyria once upon a time made capture CBN, now protects from AoCP, gives access to Perg so DR can work

Curse Cards: 3
.Captured Ark (Crimson) so many problems avoided (Household Idols, G-Cow, CoM, UW, GiC, A-pole, etc.)
   .Confusion of Mind (Pale Green)
   .Unknown Nation (Yellow)

Covenant Cards: 1
Covenant of Noah with my lack of init, this was critical

Red Heroes: 10 more guys than usual on the theory that they have to run out of EEs sometime right?
   Abishai banding
Amasai the Raider CM magnet, great for taking out that 1-2 EEs that could really kill me
   Army of Simeonites banding
   Caleb banding
Jael really useful for choosing my opp, sometimes gives me init, and access to the female LS
Jephthah great for getting rid of a couple pesky ECs (and so far hasn't cost me a SoG)
   Joab banding
   Men of Judah banding
Recruiting Officer usually used for site-access, but also nice to provide an extra LS to rescue
Spy CM magnet due to annoyance, and about the only way to get init

Red Hero Enhancements: 7 most of these are standard red negate strategy
   Book of Gad the Seer
   Counsel of Abigail
   Freedom!
   Holy Ground
   The Battle is the Lord's
   The Might of Faith
Wheel within a Wheel this is a little used card, but helps me get out the banding chains faster

Pale Green Evil Characters: 6 pretty standard Assyrian characters
Assyrian Archer great for preventing AotL freebies
   King Asnappar
   King Sargon II
King Tiglath Pileser III gets 2KH when I play against decks other than Z-temple or FBN
Messenger of Satan most often used to bring in my opponent's ECs
Rabshakeh, The gets 2KH when I play against FBN decks

Black Evil Characters: 1
Malchus once again to make sure there are always LSs available for me to rescue

Multi Evil Characters: 1
The Amelekite's Slave once again to make sure there are always LSs available for me to rescue

Pale Green Evil Enhancements: 6 pretty standard PG enhs
Confusion this is able to kill my opponent's SoG an unusual percentage of the time
   Disobedience
   Forgotten History
   Misuse of Talents
Rabshakeh Attacks, The this is a little used card, but helps great against banding FBN decks
   Two Thousand Horses

I would have maybe expected a Caleb's Sword or an Achan's Sin, but I guess I really can't argue with those results.

On the contrary.  By posting my deck, I am welcoming everyone to "argue with those results".  Feedback and criticism is appreciated.

As for Achan's Sin, I've never been a huge fan of using a card in a battle that kills myself.  I'd rather my opponent have to do that (especially after I negate their enhancements a couple times).  This one also is most useful against a banding chain, which I already have The Rabshakeh Attacks to deal with and it CBN.

As for Caleb's Sword, this was in the deck earlier, but was taken out after a defeat against Gabe when he suggested removing all good WC enhs.  Since most decks only have 1 WC EE, Caleb's Sword is really only useful about once per game (if it is even drawn at the right time).  At the same time, I have noticed several times that a well placed "horses" type EE has been a real pain in my side.

So what would you take out to make a spot for these 2 cards?  And for everyone else, please feel free to make suggestions.  What else should be added?  What should be taken out?

(if their defense is heavy enough on deck discard to somewhat hurt you, they probably won't have many battle winners to back it up)

Have you played Josh's deck discard?

Also, I dont know if your suggestions would really help the deck that much. If all he draws is isrealite archer, he cant really do much since his enhs wont work on him. Recruiting officer is also there for site access.

Wow i feel like an idiot. Lawful, im seriously sorry. I meant to hit quote on your post but I accidentally hit modify! Im not used to having mod powers..... sorry!  :-[

The basics of his post were....

Malchus out for A Slave

Add in I am Healing

Wheel Within a Wheel, Recruiting officer, and Jerusalem Tower out for Battle Cry, Isrealite Archer, and Capt of the Host.

Was there anything else in there Lawful?

Well, for Achan's sin you could surely take out The Rabshakeh Attacks - an even more effective defense against big bands. As for Caleb's Sword...maybe you could take out a less necessary hero? That could even things out a bit.

Haha it's all good.  :P

Nope, that was the just of it. Just with reasons why things came out and went in. But they are pretty obvious, so if you have a question why I would take out something or add in something, just ask.

that is what beat him. My loss was me trying out a new deck that utterly flopped, though now I have got it nearly perfected. Honestly, my loss to prof during the early stages was that decks only loss so far.

Is it just me or do you have only one true battle winner on your defense? How has the D held up? Congrats on your record so far, that is pretty impressive for a red and pale green deck.

Add in I am Healing
Wheel Within a Wheel, Recruiting officer, and Jerusalem Tower out for Battle Cry, Isrealite Archer, and Capt of the Host.
Part of the benefit of having 10 GCs is that I don't really care if many of them die, therefore removing my need for I am Healing.

Recruiting Officer has been critical for site access in multiple games, and J-Tower has caused many of my opponent's much disappointment :)

Israelite Archer and CotH are a nice band, but would add in 2 characters that I couldn't use my GEs with.  It also increased the chances of my opponent being able to band in my own GCs if my WoP hasn't come up yet.

Battle Cry is nice, but with so many banding GCs, I didn't feel like I needed to add any of Red's several banding GEs.

At least that is my thought process on those cards.  Do you have a different perspective?

Is it just me or do you have only one true battle winner on your defense? How has the D held up?
Good catch.  There is only one there (Forgotten History), and that is only under the right circumstances.  However, the D seems to consistently hold up far better than I expect.  In fact, I find that many times I am rarely attacked during a game.  Most people don't seem to want to attack PG defense until after they've drawn their SoG for some "confusing" reason :)

I guess you can't argue with the results. How did your game with 99 go? I want to know what happened in that game, he shouldn't have lost against that deck. His deck is/was really good, not that yours isn't I just thought his was on a whole new level of good

How did your game with 99 go?
It went about as good as it possibly could go against a well-built Herolite deck.  Much of this was due to the draw, but there was also a lot of sneakiness on both our parts :)

He drew Saul/Paul early on as well as HG to convert him.  He turned over HG, placed Saul/Paul in his territory, and I played AotL before he could actually do the convert.  I assumed that he had a good healing card in hand for after the conversion.  However, I didn't know that he already had Healing of Naaman in his hand as well.  Therefore, Saul was now Paul, and I was about to be in trouble considering that Built on the Rock and Zeal for the Lord were already in his Storehouse.

But on the next turn, it was my turn to be sneaky.  I attacked with someone and he blocked and tried to capture my hero.  I redirected it and captured his Paul sitting in his territory to turn him into a LS and also win the battle since he was counting on that capture.  The next turn, he exchanged LSs for my shuffler (to give me on my next turn and get Paul back I assume).  Then he attacked with Zach (to get a fort), but I went ahead and gave him Paul to put in his LoR which was Guardian'd.  So Paul was gone for the game.

That left Zach who he converted to teal, and Annanias (purple).  He could still get enough wins with Zeal, Burning Incense, and AoCP for the win.  However on his next rescue, I blocked with Assyrian Archer banded Ki.ng Tiggy.  He played Burning Incense, and I negated.  He played Zeal, and I negated.  He died, and I got the free extra capture of Annanias, leaving no offense left in his deck.

Therefore the game really came down to whether my offense could break through his formidable defense.  However, I attacked early, often, and without mercy.  This eventually wore it down to the point that I was able to take 3 LSs and add a SoG/NJ for the 5-1 win.

Good point, we didn't think of that.  I think I won on the turn following that battle, but perhaps if AoCP had been in his hand, the final score should have been 5-2.  In any case, I think the rest of my defense was protected by Assyrian Camp, so the AoCP would have only won 1 battle.
