hey guys I have been having some trouble conecting to other ppl on RTS then I found out about a thing called "Hamachi" which is a program that you can make a network to play RTS on and I just thought I should share it with you guys/girls.

download it from here http://www.hamachi.cc/download/list.php

1: download English version
2: install
3: click create or join existing network(bottom right corrner, botton on left)

you're welcome in advance.

here is a network list for ppl to join:
OFFG's network password yourmom status: full, 17 ppl
Cameron's Redemption Network password Redemption status: open, 15 ppl
STAMP lounge 1 password oicu812 status: full, 17 ppl
Cameron's Redemption Network 2 password Redemption status: open, 11 ppl
Janissary's Network password Janissary status: open, 4 ppl

PS plz tell me if there are any changes with these networks or if there are new ones for ppl to join

It also will allow anyone to host on RTS, which is great.

It's nice for people who don't have AIM as well, because it works as a sort of a chat/messenger.

how can you start rts stuff on it though?

you get in to it, then you do everything the same way you would have without it

like it says i cant connect because it doesnt have my web proxy set up right and cant get it

to get your proxy, talk to your ISP, or search in IE settings

Perhaps we can make one thread labeled "RTS resources" and put this thing, the update files that mjwolfe put together--basically anything to do with RTS-related software--all on that thread.

I think he should be able to use any name he wants. It may be nice to sync the names, but you cannot force him. This is not your software...

I agree with OFFG on this one.

I'm very thankful to OFFG for finding this program, so I will conform to his wishes. However, even if you don't care about Hamachi that much and only use it for RTS, it does make things a little easier if you use a name at least similar to your board SN.
