That's how you connected prior to Hamachi...Hamachi made it easier.
In my world, port forwarding is actually easier.
Hamachi gets around firewalls. Many firewalls will stop direct connection (especially wireless networks iirc)
Serious security flaw much? I never really liked Hamachi, and that was one of the main reasons.
duh? you can type in the users IP in the new game menu of RTS. as long as you know the ip and the port is open nothing else is needed. good job. ill come smack you for this duh moment later.
