Hey all. This is a post mostly geared toward players who will be attending Tournaments in the DFW, Tomball, or San Antonio areas.

Basically I'm starting this thread as a way we can share our Availability and discuss tournament happenings throughout the season so that we can make tournaments more successful and hopefully have a few more this season. Feel free to post anything you feel is relevant to our playgroups here whether it be ideas, tournament or schedule related, or even prayer requests. Hope to see everyone soon and play some more amazing games of Redemption.

If we all will be at H&F this Friday night, Chris, Dario, Travis M, and I will plan out our upcoming tourneys with at least one local per month. We request our Tomball and DFW contingents to post/pm me their available/unavailable Fridays and Saturdays. This can help us plan out our back-to-back specials. Thanks and Godbless.

Note the following major demos if you are interested to help out. Some.of you have gotten an Email. However, note that it may be hard for players from other cities to help on Sep 28th since next day is districts at Terry's. For Oct 13th, next day is my mom's 82nd birthday. Y'all are welcome to crash at my poor man's home Sat night but you may need to leave my place without me next day. Worst case, Dario can stay home and can just join me later after you guys leave. PM me your thoughts please. Thanks in advance.

If we are doing it as a state event then the Texas State is scheduled for the first weekend of May. Will that conflict with the type-2 only event?

I think roy used state to refrence the state of texas not a state level event. Kind of how the T2 only is hosted by the state of MN every year. So this would be TXs thing. The Dates for the T2 only I believe are already posted and are in March 29 and 30th I think. The Guardian is hosting it and made a post about it. I think regardless we should try to come to a decision thay gives us enough time to spread the word if we want to encourage people from out of state to attend.

T2 Only is indeed March 29th and 30th. 

I would vote for during winter break, before Thanksgiving at least two weeks, or during a long weekend like MLK weekend.

In regards to the question of monthly vs every other month events at H&F for the playgroups; I know monthly would be difficult for me to do, but every other month should be more reasonable.

In that light would everyone be able to suggest a best NEXT end of month Fri/Sat that all may set their skeds to attend?

Also, just found out that our 1st Anniversary demoing and playing at Heroes & Fantasies (San Antonio) is April 20th! Let me know if we want to seal Apr 19/20 as our next back-to-back. The only concern about it is that in less than 2 weeks from those dates is our State tournament. I will want to use common sense. Is it workable with our budgets and skeds?
