What Is It?
An online Redemption T2-2P tournament designed to crown in winner in parallel with Wild Bill's Annual Type 2 Shoot Out.

Format
There will be four open-challenge format qualifying rounds. These run:

• September (Sept 1-30)
• October (Oct 1-31)
• November through mid-December (Nov 1-Dec 10)
• Mid-December through January (Dec 11-Jan 24)

The top finisher from each qualifying round (who has not previously qualified) will play in a seeded double-elimination tournament in the month of February to crown the online king/queen of T2.

Special Note: One of the purposes of this tournament is to encourage players to grow in the most awesome of types--Type 2. As part of achieving this goal the finalists will be required to provide a written list for their double elimination tournament deck.  Following the conclusion of both the Grand Prix and the Annual Type 2 Shoot Out, the deck lists will be published.

Rules
Standard Redemption T2 rules apply, with the following exceptions:

• The default game time limit is upped to 90 minutes.*

*If both players agree at the start of a game, the time limit may be modified or even waived. Fellowship dictates that any such change should be mutually agreed upon without pressure or coercion.

During the qualifiers, participants are free to change deck lists as they desire. Each qualifier must play a *single* deck throughout the double elimination tournament.


Prize Support

• Everyone who participates in in the event will receive a participation prize.
• The four qualifiers will receive qualification awards.
• There will be a champion's prize for the winner of the double elimination tournament.
• There will be a bonus participation prize for anyone who plays a T2 game on Lackey for the first time as part of the Grand Prix or preparing for the Grand Prix.

All prizes are TBD. I can tell you ahead of time that they will not be extravagant, however.

All participation prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of each qualifier.

How to Participate

• Create an account on challenge boards dot net.
• Sign up as a member for the current qualifying board.  For September this is named "Redemption T2 Grand Prix September."  The password for this board is "T2Rocks" (without the quotes).
• Play a minimum of 6 (six) games against at least 4 (four) different opponents.
• When you win, update the challenge board.

I'll be unable to do the September and October rounds, but i'll totally play in the last two!

Downloaded Lackey, so now I guess I have to figure out a deck to use and then see if I can play!

Are players allowed to waive the time limit if both agree or is the time limit something tied into the ranking system?

For the record, I wasn't worried about prize support.  I'm more wondering how my first game on Lackey will go.  I've downloaded it on 3 different computers now, but never had a good chance to play a game.

To clarify, the score doesn't matter either right? Time out win is the same as a regular win?
