Bonus games do matter as far as who wins. The winner of a bonus game gets 2 bonus points, the loser gets 1 bonus point. If you and your opponent are both past your quota of four points, then you don't really need to post here.

Even though you didn't send a PM I'm going to award you ghost points for the following reasons:

1) We're still getting used to the new system. I'm sure you won't forget again.

2) SirNobody announced his intent to withdraw from ROOT leaving you no opponent.

3) This won't impact the top 4 for finals week. If it did, I would not feel good about "giving" you a spot in the top 4 ahead of someone who followed the guidelines.

Hey,

My decision to withdraw from ROOT was very intentionally made at the very end of the week. I wanted to make sure I gave RTSmaniac the opportunity to get our game in while making sure Gabe knew not to pair me up with someone for the following week. I did not send RTSmaniac a PM to arrange a time to play but I did make an attempt to be on hamachi as much as possible (and never saw him on) and checked my inbox daily to see if he had attempted to contact me.

Quite frankly, I don't care if ghost points are awarded one way or the other, but I do want it to be known that my decision to leave ROOT did not affect my availability to play my game last week.

Confirm. Good Game RDT. Just didnt get the cards I needed to defend.

Thus ends my run at online play until May or June. After some bonus games for sure.

I had alot going on last week but i did log on to hamachi as well and never saw SirNobody on. Unfortunatly it was usually 10:00pm or later. I really dont feel comfortable recieving the ghost points after reading SirNobody's response.
