Pretty disappointing that only 2 games out of 8 were played...kinda bummed that I spend time organizing so that people can get games in only to see such low participation. Before I go any further, let me say that I'm not pointing fingers or calling anyone out. I'm also not asking anyone to bow out because the whole point is to find a way for people to gain experience, learn new strategies (and how to play against them) and play against people from other areas/playgroups. Hopefully it's just an aberration that perhaps had something to do with school and other fall activities beginning this time of year, and consequently this was just a bad week schedule-wise for a lot of players. However, if people think this might continue then it might behoove us to consider changing up the RooT format. Are people finding they have no time at all for online play or is it just a struggle to get two specific schedules to line up? If we changed RooT to an "open play" style, would that be of interest? Are people only truly interested in playing if there is prize support? I'll put together the week 4 pairings and we'll see how that goes, but would appreciate some feedback.
I lost (again) to Soul Seeker 2 : 5 - but was a hard and epic fight though!
