hey when do you want to play our ROOT game?
I sent the above to RDT on the 21st and never got a response back. Perty sure I was ghosted though I will admit being busy I wasnt trolling Hamachi or the boards at all waking hours to harass a game out of RDT.

Sending a PM at the eleventh hour isn't really "making an effort" in my book.

like i said i was on all week and it was more of an effort than he made.
This is the way Lackey gave it to me. All hail the power of Lackey!

No, it isn't. It's an afterthought and nothing more than that.

Apparently he also waited for a PM all week.  I appreciate that you did send him a message 3 hours before the deadline, but it really isn't reasonable to expect that he would get the message and be able to play the game.  I won't count this as a ghost for either of you, and will just record the game as unplayed.  Next time, hopefully both of you will PM your opponents much earlier in the week.

confirmed, it was sad... I thought it would be awesome to have the first tournament I win be ROOT, but it was a well played game I can't complain.

Just as a heads up, due to this post, it looks as if Jordan may have a hard time playing against lp670sv this week.

Kirk

Since no one has a bye this week, I assume I would just take a bye. Not that it matters too much since I can't place anyway. I hope he's alright; despite his obviously controversial viewpoints on everything, we'll miss him if he doesn't come back.

Yep, that's how I'll count it if he doesn't show back up.  I too will miss his input here on the forum.

So... what happens if Kirk wins the game against Pol? You'll have three people all with the same amount of points, and each player will have won and lost against each of the other two.

1 - I guess I'll root for Pol to win and avoid the problem :)
2 - We were going to take 1 week off before starting the Nov/Dec ROOT.  So if we have to I'll come up with some sort of thing to sort things out using that week :)

Oh yeah, I'm all in favor of the "Pol wins" option. I'm thinking maybe a battle royale?

Confirm.  I pulled some tricks but it's hard to rescue with all your heroes at the bottom, oh well.  Good game at least.

Thank goodness for SOG/NJ...

I beat Polarius 5-4 in a game completely dependent on card order. If not for him drawing 2 souls I could rescue w/ SoG/NJ on his final turn, I would have lost 5-3.

BATTLE ROYALE!

Edit: In all seriousness though, and I understand I'm biased so take this with a grain of salt, but wouldn't the easiest option be to give it to the guy with the best differential?

I think that is what it is suppose to go to.  Game score -> head to head -> ls differential

Yeah, but that's supposed to be if two people are tied at the end of a tournament and never played each other - I assume it would still apply here, but the rule was written with these circumstances in mind.

Confirm. A very fun well-played game.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!
