Thanks for asking as I actually made a small mistake which I'll correct now.  You can find the scoring system here.

I'm out for this month. Missing points because my opponent never showed up is bogus.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

You can show proof of attempts to meet or otherwise get your opponent to confirm that you made an effort to meet and he did not. Otherwise, your tears are pretty delicious.

I would have proof of attempts to meet, but I didn't realize the system doesn't automatically save sent messages (like every other messaging system I've used ever). Given that he's on rarely (hence the ghosting) I don't have high hopes for getting him to confirm it before it's too late.

Before the end of the month? At the very least talk to Underwood about the possibility of getting the points for ghosting whenever your opponent DOES get on and confirm before you decide to just quit.

When I was running ROOT, if a player claimed that he was ghosted but didn't have confirmation, I would PM the other opponent to confirm. If the other person didn't respond (i.e. they aren't involved enough in the tournament to keep track of when to report what happened) then I would award the points to the person who reported the ghost. I understand the frustration of not having automatically saved PMs, especially when the opponent is not frequently on the boards.

I leave it up to Prof U to decide, but I would vouch for Pol that he is on fairly often, while Rocky is for various reasons not widely available (I barely was able to squeeze my game with him in last month).

After getting a copy of a PM conversation between Pol and Rocky, I have decided to award the ghost points to Pol.  This will change the game assignments for this week, so I hope that won't cause anyone else any problems.

For everyone else, please keep a copy of your PMs that you send to opponents.  It makes my job a lot easier when you have documentation to back up your claim to ghost points :)

Beat Red 5-2. The new Rescue rule backfired in this one, instead of making the game longer it actually made it shorter since he couldn't SOG/NJ defensively and I rescued both of those souls

Won my game in a super-close one 5-4.  I would have lost next turn if I hadn't been able to make the rescue.

Confirm.  It wouldn't have been as close except for the new experimental LS rule.  After falling behind a lot early, my lack of LSs gave me the chance to come back and almost win.  I think it made for a game that was a lot more fun for both of us.
