I won 7-2 in a very interesting game.

6-2 you mean.

He probably played a type 2 game. You need 7 LSs to win in T2.

No, it was T1. I didn't realize that i gave him 3-liner. I was just plain stupidified that game i don't know WHAT was going on. :p

Yeah, it was 7-2 T1. I had the Shuffler, Site Doubler, Anti Angel, Thorns, 3-Line, and Pigs. I count 5 Single LSs and 1 Double. It was a fun match and I really enjoyed it.
Just one more thing...

but i don't think it matters I'm pretty sure in ROOT we use the rule that you can only rescue 5 LSs in a game anyway.

I sure hope so.

In T1 the max you can rescue now is 5, and the game ends. In the olden days you could score over 5 such as you guys did, but they made a rule that it auto stops at 5.

In sadder news,
Red=3
me=0

At one point, it was possible to win with 10 souls total. In a 5 player multiplayer game, you have four souls rescued and you tap five different 2-Liners, one from each of your opponents and then yourself. You play SoG/NJ and all of your opponents play NJ to get the other half of each 2-Liner, while you use SoG to hit your own 2-Liner and one last soul. Unfortunately, due to two separate rule changes, this is no longer possible, but it was a fun concept while it lasted.

You would have to have literally everyone cooperating for this to happen.

This is correct.

I lost to Prof U 5-2.
This is also correct.  I was blessed with the win.

Although what happened this week may not have exactly been ghosting, I'd still like for NWJ to be awarded the ghost points/win. It was mostly my fault we never got around to our game.

I was counting this as simply a no game played since no one contacted me requesting ghost points.  Did NWJ actually try to set up a game with you and then it didn't happen?  I just want to make sure before giving him points and giving you the ghost.

yes we had a few back and forth messages. the last of which was sent by him to me today. I missed the original time we had set up to play and never got back to him with a solid new time.

We both agreed to play to :45 min that game.

That's fine. There was someone - I think last month - who didn't know that ROOT games lasted the two hours.

Yes. Instead of the traditional 45 minute long game times, ROOT games last up to 2 hours unless both members agree ahead of time to waive the time limit.

Oh, yikes. I'll have to make note of that this time. I think my last game was 2 hrs and 30 min long or more.

If neither participant cared, it's not important. We tend to be a bit more lax about it than tournaments held in real life.

Yeah, cause in tournaments held in real life, long games affect more people than just the players.

Strictly speaking, long games still affect more than just the players on a very rigid line of fairness, however, it's not that big of a deal.

I once failed to place instead of getting first at a Regional tournament because my game timed out with me ahead 4-2 and I was the only undefeated player, but the host allowed extra time and I ended up losing the game in "overtime."
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!
