If you are interested in joining the Jan ROOT, please post on this thread. This tournament will also be going for 5 6 weeks (starting Jan 3rd).

"Dominant Cap" experiment is out:
This month, we will NOT be using the proposed Dominant-cap rule. But I would like everyone to share their experiences with that last month here regarding how this rule has affected your games.

"No 1st turn RA's or Doms" is in:
This month we will be experimenting with a limitation on each player's 1st turn of the game that they may NOT make a rescue attempt (or battle challenge) or play any dominants. Please post your feedback on how this rule proposal affected your games here.

Can someone clarify the way RNRS points work for this? I recognize that there aren't prizes, however, do we get points based on our placement for each month, or is it determined by the Round Robin tournament during the summer?

January 3rd, but obviously you'll have that whole week as long as you communicate with your opponent.
