Cut down on mayhem but still was horrid. no doms first round would help better because I don't want naz or anything like out before the first turn is even taken.

Figures when I finally get some nice FTMs, we start playing intro prep.  It seemed to work for you.

I only remembered to play it once (>_>), and that didn't go so well as you know. However, as a general note, I am a fan of it, and have played several RTS games with it. It's definitely not the answer to FTM, but I am a fan all the same.

Edit: Definitely NOT the answer.

I never remembered to use it, mostly because I joined late and didn't even know about it until now. But I did lose a game where I got FTM'd, and I feel I would have won had we remembered Intro-Prep, so I continue to be in favor of it overall.

Played a non-RooT game without intro-prep...I got FTM-ed and I would have been able to put down several cards had we played intro-prep. The post-Mayhem draw was nearly worthless except that I drew Rain Becomes Dust which slowed down my opponent's speedy Genesis deck just enough for me to squeak out a 5-4 win. Had we played intro-prep, I doubt my opponent would have even used the FTM and instead saved it for another turn.

if your talking about the game you played with me, I still probably would  have played that mayhem first turn because I had no characters in my opening hand.

I think I remembered to use it x1 this month and it didn't make a difference. I have played many other games where it would have made a big difference mitigating a FTM. I support something like this.

In my game with SomeKittens, intro-prep stopped a FTM. That's a huge difference. He still won because he got better deck order on both GoyS and FA, but stopping the FTM allowed me to actually outspeed his disciples deck with a balanced deck and be a turn away from winning.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

It wasn't intro-prep that stopped FTM in our game, more the lack of a Mayhem in my hand first round.  Though thanks for letting everyone know my archetype.

I used it and loved it. I think that it should be instituted as a general rule.
