Hey guys, sorry I never updated the final standings on the last ROOT, finals time came around and I had very little time to do anything (4 400 level classes will do that to you).
Anyway, let's get the next ROOT started! I was thinking as a special Christmas themed root, the rule could be that your offense can only use Red and Green brigade, and your defense can only use Crimson and Pale Green brigade.
If you are interested, sign up here.

I finish finals tomorrow, so I'm up for it
-
I'll try to. I might have to play a game or two over Skype, tho. Might not have access to a computer that has lackey for a week or two. if that is okay, I will definitely play. and with the brigades, could you use cards that have other brigades besides those, like gold and green, or teal and green?
-
Yes you would be able to play multi-brigade cards, as long as one of their brigades was in the required brigades.
-
I'd be interested. Have to make sure my schedule allows it over the holidays though.
One thing I'd request if we go with the brigade limitations: No sites allowed. Or maybe just Red/Green sites. I think you need this rule if you are going to limit the brigades you are allowed to use on offense.

That's a good idea. In fact the rule could just be that any card with a brigade must have one of green, red, crimson or pale green as one of its brigades. That rule would cover sites as well as the other card types.
-
well, really red and green have a lot of good site access cards in tem, most of which will be used in a straight red (Centurians for starters) or Green(Isaiah, Daniel) that I dont see a huge reason for limiting. but I do see the point.
-
Nice idea (while very challenging to my real cardpool ;D).
I assume multicolor cards can be used too?

Yes, as long as they have Red, Green, Crimson, or Pale Green as a brigade. So Foreign Wives, Silly Women (new version), Samuel, Daniel, Barnabas, the Armor of God heroes, etc. are all legal. And I guess Saul/Paul isn't, since he is a Gray character by default.
-
I wont be able to play thos week, but I should be able to play right around next Wednesday.
-
So what's happening with this? Is it going to happen or not?
-
i want that
-
There didn't seem to be enough interest to run the tournament. Would people be more interested without any special rules?
-
I'm in either way
-
im good to play now
-
Well with everyone in this thread, I can run a short 2 week 4 person tournament. Would you guys want that?
-
sure
-
Works for me
-
yes
-
Yes. Sorry about my delay. Let's do it!
-
All right, it'll be a 3 round round robin. I'll put up the first round later today. Do you guys want special rules or not?
-
In terms of restrictions, I would prefer none, but I would be interested in testing out a lost souls stay mulligan rule, if others are interested
-
I'm also a fan of potential mulligan rules. I'd also like to resurrect Type 3 for a ROOT session.
But I'd say let's just do no special rules for this one, due to the short time period
