Just making sure that I understand this card correctly.

Spoiler: The Card in Question (hover to show)

As far as I can tell, resurrect defaults to returning to owner's territory. In addition, you can always pay a cost without getting a benefit, and on this card the cost is "discard an evil card from a reserve" and the benefit is "resurrect their human hero". Setting aside the self-recurring battlewinner that's CBN off Zeke for a moment, this would make the art either:
A. A worse Eternal Covenant
B. A free discard an evil card from an opponent's reserve

Is this intended? It's still absolutely worth running in Zeke decks, but I just want to double check before resigning it to to be a Rainbow-like "artifact side doesn't matter" covenant.

Also, sorry for the giant image. All the ones in the imgur album do that to me for some reason.
ANB is good. Change my mind.

I can't speak for the intent of the card but yes you can discard an evil card from their reserve even if they have no targets for the resurrect. If there is no evil card to discard, you do not get the resurrect.
