Good rulings. The effect resolve order for lost souls is pretty good and the changes to lost souls for deckbuilding make sense. I honestly don't know how many people play with a 100+ T1 deck, so this ruling seems fair.
At the same time, we wanted to curb the power of the Lost Souls card in particular. It's already strong enough with ways to reset it so we believe this will be a positive change for the game.
I've had mixed success with the Liner Lost Souls. When I'm playing my younger players who don't always know to keep their SoG or NJ for it (even though there are now plenty of cards to go ahead and play them while you can!), it tends to be a very powerful card. But most of the time when playing Type 2, I would give both of my liners "hits" and then my opponent plays SoG and NJ, and then effectively has a 4 LS swing which hurts badly (as I've never seemed to pull that off).

So just for clarification....is it 1 lost soul with an ability and 6 w/o? or do you mean 7 lost souls with abilities and either of those 7 can have 1 copy? i.e. 3liner, 3liner, retriever, retro, rejoice, punisher, hand discarder....
