I am curious why the change to: "all Evil Characters (except one)." (It might be the language nerd in me) I am used to seeing the grammatical function of putting "except one" in a parenthetical phrase to mean that "except one" is now not a part of the main idea of the sentence, as the duty of a parenthetical phrase is a thought outside of the sentence - a throw-away phrase, so to speak. The expected syntax would be "all Evil Characters, except one."
I ask this question not to be an idiot or to say someone is stupid but because I am trying to get back into the game, and what you all see as "normal" I see as "foreign." This isnt bad, it's simply different. I'm trying to get the jargon you all are used to using. Someone has taken painful hours combing through cards to assure the "play as" abilities are reading properly, so I conclude this unexpected use of parenthesis was intentional - I am curious as to why.
