Should I keep my first printing cards? Or should I trade them as I would any other?

You should trade your 1st print Seek and Destroy and Coming of the Spirit to me!  :kenobi:   :D

Of which I have neither! *cries inconsolably*

Really now, should I keep them? Should I value them higher?

It depends on if your goal is collecting or building your collection to build decks. If you're a collector, obviously you want to have a complete set. If you're more of a deck builder, you may be able to trade them (at a higher value than 2nd print) to get cards you need for your decks and then simply replace them with easier to acquire 2nd print versions.

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

That second thing is probably what I'll do. How much more would the first print cards be than the second? Depends on the rarity and the amount changed, of course.

From my observations of the current market - 1st print are double the value of their 2nd print version.  So commons are $2, rares are $6 and URs are $30.  See TLG TEC page for current prices of 2nd print cards.

Are you trading any of your first-print TEC cards for non-TEC cards?
My wife is a hottie.

Not really. I'm trying to finish my collection of Phase 1. Starting with The False Prophet... Grr... I didn't get either of the Ultra-rares in ten packs!

Know how you feel.  It is very hard to get a complete set of TEC cards.  I got 25 packs of the 2nd print cards and I did not get either one of the URs.  I also got 14 packs of the 1st print cards and I did not get an UR.  Those UR cards are hard to come by.

As a collector I'm trying to complete both prints and I need a total of 21 cards to do so (10 - 1st print and 11 2nd print).  I was able to get one of the 1st print UR cards.  If I would combine both prints I only need 2 cards (an UR and one of the common cards).
