Thanks for proving my point the market is flooded so the card is worth a quarter of what it was previously worth. In my opinion this is not good for the game! That's why previous sets are worthless there's not enough people playing the game and way too many cards. If a card is worth $175 in theory but was sold for $40 then it's truly not worth $175.

There is such a thing as “priced to sell” in which case someone can list something below market rate in order to sell it faster because it provides value from the standpoint of not holding onto the item for an extended period of time.

Just because one person sells an item for less doesn’t automatically make the item less valuable. If multiple people start offering the same item for less and/or that supply stays consistent, then “normal” market prices will decrease as well.

However, as Travis has mentioned before, this forum is not all-inclusive of the Redemption market. I would probably go further to say that the majority of the participants on this forum are those who have already had access to TSC and therefore are not really even part of the market for the card.

I am not saying that I think AB TSC is worth $175, but I am stating that I believe stating it is worth $40 now because someone sold it at that price is extreme. In the end, any item is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

I would agree with Kye. I think the true worth of AB TSC is now around $70-90 dollars tops. I do think we have a dearth of players and a slightly saturated market, but I think that market is better than when Second Coming was ludicrously scarce following the cloud release.

Well for my first post my point was that the value of the second coming had dropped. I was not meeting that it was only worth $40. I guess I agree with red the value is somewhere around $80. But that's almost $100 less than what the so-called price is for AB. That also makes the original print of the second coming probably less unless you're a collector. The new alternate border of shipwreck the value will probably go up and then they'll find a way to print it later down the road and then the value will drop just like every other card.
