What error on Christian soldier

All cards are good clean gently used condition.  I removed any that were "over-played" unless useful for deck-building.

Bottom line its a lot sale.  Lots of good cards for deck building.  A few gems.

I'm looking to post on eBay starting at $150 unless anyone here wants to make a solid bid or wants to discuss further in PM.

(This is my first time on message board, but this seems to be where the action and advice is. . .

Action or Advice, anyone?

Those are not errors. The ones without the copyright are the limited set. they were the first run. The other are unlimited. There were some wonky printings that they fixed between the sets but they are not errors.

Full disclosure: the stillness without the copyright is a promo card worth $2.50. The Christian Soldier is the card from the limited starter deck A. They were printed before the full limited set. (I am in the process of writing an article about all the limited variations)

I do worry about someone who just got an account 8 days ago and is already selling cards.

You can get a full factory set with every varient "error" from threelions for $200.00 (and before he bought them out for $150.00) through cactus.  Your collection is a lot of stuff that will never see game play anymore.  Falling Away and Lost Souls being exceptions.  You may have $50.00 on your hands, probably less than that unfortunately.

Thanks for the advice.  When tallying all $1.00 and above cards I came up with an amount much higher than $150 for the lot.

I understand that most folks don't want the lot, but I no longer play  (since early 2000 while in college at Old Dominion in VA, close to Cactus HQ)  Two signed cards are legit from a visit with Rob, early on.

So based on the advice from folks here, I guess I should look at closer to $60-75 opening bid.

Should I continue to market here or put on eBay?  Are they other questions concerning appearance or lot listing?

Thanks all.

Your best bet is to start the bid at $.01 no reserve and see how it goes, or start it at $50.00.  Condition of cards means a lot.

Are you willing to sell the set in pieces? I might be interested in a handful of the promos, but not really looking to buy everything.

Signed Cards: Shamgar (w/ blood, signed by Rob Anderson)

How is no one asking about this?!? Whose blood is on the card? Is it Rob's blood?

This is a great community, for what I remember being a great game.

Unfortunately my job does not afford me the time now or a stable community.  (military)

I invested a good bit of money into the lot and hope to sell it to someone who will appreciate some of the old cards, unique cards, and the entire lot.  (To include limited Shamgar that had blood in card image, before it was edited out. . .Shamgar and his ox goad might be too gruesome for some.... ;))  But THE Rob Anderson did indeed sign it. . . as it was my favorite card at the time.

Just to talk up the lot with other serious players. . .I thought I'd have more people curious and ready to purchase a lot full of fun and surprising cards.  Listed the most price-worthy cards, but really don't want to sell them individually. . .also not expecting to sell the lot for complete set prices.

Enjoying the discussion. . .but end of the day, I'll be selling the lot for what should be a bargain.

What other questions should I address here or on eBay?
