Hey is it cool if we ask questions about the sleeves here (or some other thread)? Or would you rather have them asked directly by pm?
-
Yes it is totally OK to ask q's here. :)

Hey guys! I have a few questions. Is there a problem with the sleeves? Is it the design? Is it the cost? Is it just everyone that said they would like to have them and pre-order them not have money or resources at the moment? I am just curious. I want to make a product that makes the community happy and is also affordable. I want to grow Redemption and I believe this is one of the many ways to do it.

That second design is warping my mind.
-
My favorite design is the red Redemption logo with the red background.
One problem I do have is that it would cost $36 for a type 1 deck.
With the new "Reserve" rule: 60 sleeves only fits a 50 card deck.
I can't bring myself to pay $36 for sleeves...I can get 3 sets of 100 Dragon Shield sleeves, and I know I love them, for that price.
Long Story short: Just too rich for my blood.
-
Yeah, for me it's the cost. I guess I don't recall what you originally posted in terms of price, but $18 would get me 4 packs of 60 count ultra pro or a couple 100 ct boxes of Dragon Shields.

I've looked into custom sleeves but never followed through because of two factors:
Cost - the price to have a custom image put on sleeves is several times higher than if I just find sleeves already in production that I like. I can get roughly 50 sleeves with a cool graphic online for around $5.
Unknown Quality - I've purchased a number of sleeves that don't wear well. They start to rip out or the graphic layer on the back begins peeling off. I'm willing to take that risk for $5. Not as much for the cost of custom sleeves.
One specific item related to the sleeves you have listed - I personally don't find the graphics appealing. If I knew someone who had them and the quality was good I might consider spending the money on a set if you had used a high quality version of the card back graphic or the GoYS graphic. It looks like those two were photoshopped to avoid copyright issues. I'm pretty certain that if you ask Cactus Game Design they are willing to work out a mutually beneficial deal and allow the use of the original graphics.

It would actually be really cool to have sleeves that looked exactly like the back of a Redemption card. 8)
-
Cost - The lowest I can go on the cost would be 16 still with free shipping.
Quality - They are mat treated and I have done shuffle and bend tests. They fit and look really amazing.
For looking exactly like the card you have to have powerful equipment and the price will skyrocket. Also it cannot be done thru me and any problems would be funneled thru a large corporation customer service branch.
For the reserve rule. If I would bump up the card sleeves to 80 I would have to sell them at $18.
I hope this answers your q's! Please tell me what you think of my answers and if I sold them in 60's for $16 and 80's for $18 dollars if that would change your mind. If not please please let me know.

I'm looking forward to seeing some pictures of the finished product. I think posting some of that will really help!

for me its the cost and the graphics, cost too high, graphics unappealing. That's just my two cents.

I was interested but I don't see any of the pictures talked about in the other thread, which you did address. However if I knew that from the beginning I would have probably stated I wouldn't have gotten any. I am by no means talking smack on your product is it just isn't appealing to me. I have trouble paying the price to when I can get 100 sleeves for $8.00 shipped.
I wouldn't mind paying more than $8.00 but they have to be very visually appealing.

These are pretty rough-looking, I have to say.
