non fungible tokens on Opensea

I am building a small collection of cards on https://opensea.io/collection/redemption-trading-card-game-fall-2021
This is an effort to interest new people in the game.  Perhaps some fans here would be interested in owning one or more of these non fungible tokens.  I have uploaded 24 card files thus far.  Any requests on what cards you would like to see offered? I am planning to cap this first offering at 50 cards.

If this turns into something meaningful, I will offer more cards in the future.  Income from this project is to support and promote the game.

Thank you,
Rob

Hi Rob,

Thanks for posting but I'm not quite sure I understand what this is.  I saw the site but I'm still not understanding what it does/it's purpose.  Would you mind please elaborating further for those of us who are fungibley-illiterate? :)

Thanks,

Derek

I am still learning. But, it's a block chain similar to cryptocurrency.  My understanding is that I offer a file such as the Ark of the Covenant card.  If someone buys that card, that person owns a unique file.  It is tracked and verified as unique.  They keep it as long as they like or they flip it by selling it to someone else.  But, only one person can own it at a time.  Some people buy these for their collection and others buy these as an investment to sell later at what they hope will be a higher price.

Gotcha. So cryptocurrency but for trading cards. That’s quite interesting.

Dibs on The Second Coming, Three Woes, and Shipwreck borderless cards! 😁

More cards added.  I am going to launch an auction the end of next week.  Last Friday I bought my first crypto currency and set up my 'wallet.'  What I am seeing is that after you buy the currency, you must wait a week before you have full access to it.

I have offers for two cards already.  These came from people already on OpenSea.  For this reason, I am going to delay the auction to give Redemption fans a chance to set up an account so that they have the ability to bid.  Special note:  Ethereum seems to be the main crypto currency used on OpenSea.  I don't know if other currencies (Bitcoin for example) can be used on the site.

I welcome thoughts from people with experience with crypto currency and/or OpenSea.

Hi... you can perhaps create an online game using the redemption nft cards, something like  axie infinity and splinterland. This will bring more values to the redemption nfts, and the nfts will sell better when they are used in a game. Just a suggestion.
