For those who didn't know, TLG has been relaunched and the card prices have changed (been lowered)...for buying/selling/trading here in the Market, I'm assuming we will immediately be using the new card values, right?
-
It only makes sense to do so. I kind of stinks for the people who wanted to sell there redemption collection, but now they will only get half the price that they would have about a month ago.... ???

Good for buyers, bad for sellers.

Not as many people I knew would buy at TLG prices, which were higher due to quality and availability (if I need a MINT card, of ANY card, I can go there and have it within days, which is why the price was higher). But it is a good basis for trade value otherwise, and still is of course.

In fairness, you can still get high quality cards in a matter of days from Three Lions, but I felt that in order for Redemption to get a larger player base it had to be able to be affordable since it is likely to be a players second or third game they play. With the high investment many make in other games it made sense to lower prices to hopefully garner more interest from those players.

I agree- it's an awesome change that I believe will really help the game and the players! Thank you!!

Now I just have too correct the "imbedded" prices and values of cards in my head, and cut them in half...

Luke,
That won't even work because Chariot of Fire promo used to be worth $7, and today its worth $5. Some of the cards went half, some went half and increased a little, some increased a lot, and a few didn't even change.
Formula works for about 90%+ of the prices.

Also, the TEC cards are not discounted at all.
