New NY playgroup needs startup cards

Posting on behalf of my sister, to_to_toriquah.  She's working on establishing a Redemption club at the school she works at in Spencer, NY.  PAMDA players have already contributed a fantastic number of cards for potential new players to pick through (seriously, y'all are the best!),  but there are some holes that need addressed before real decks can start taking shape.

Her biggest needs are for Lost Soul cards, either with or without special abilities.  Also in need are starter/bulk dominants, i.e. Angel of the Lord, Christian Martyr, Burial, Vain Philosophy, Strife, Harvest Time, etc.  She has a decent number of Son of God cards already, so that one is not as critical to receive.  Full starter decks (especially I/J and G/H) would also be greatly appreciated, as well as simpler cards that can be used effectively in teaching the game to younger students.

She could also use some deck boxes and sleeves.  Especially awesome would be the longer cardboard boxes that can store hundreds of cards.

If you have any ability to help get this playgroup off the ground, please PM me or to_to_toriquah.  I can help out with shipping costs, or if you're in the Ohio/Western PA area I can pretty easily come out and pick up cards and make sure they get to her.  I can also help pay for the cost of cards, but obviously donation from excess collection would be preferred  :)

Redemption's coming back to south central NY; let's help get it going!

Yes, NY Redemption anew!

Jon, would your sister allow for you to post her school's name and address?

Also, please let her start planning to prepare for me to visit her school one day when she is ready for us to help her host her first tournament at her school. It would be great to have you and a bunch of us head out to her school on tournament day.  A Saturday event would be perfect. Even better is if Friday night can also be a Local, for an exciting back-to-back tourney weekend.

Need you to also PM me your ph number.

Thanks.

Peace.

I am looking at an October launch - all NSCA clubs launch sometime in October. I will probably start introducing it in my middle school Bible class in September, though.

Tori, please kindly start a thread as well somewhere in the tournaments section as soon as possible, highlighting your plan to set up a club at your school and host tourneys. That should get populated with posts of interest to your area being a central as it is. There used to be Kitty Jones who owned Spirit & Life in Cortland who hosted tournaments in her area. You have at least four potential strongholds in northern NY: Al Bauer's group, Rob Mulye's playgroup, the great Jon Greeson's group as well as Ben Campbell''s group. Ben is now a church pastor who I first met when he was barely 14 years ago. Jon your bro can help you keep in touch with these people as well as the PAMDA stronghold. Who knows, even Marc Vellake might be back from his long hiatus from the game. We miss him much.

I faithfully declare that through God's grace, the 2016 NY State tourney will be held at your school or church, and I will be one of the strongest vouchers for Regionals 2016 to be hosted by your school or church!

God is so good! Kudos to Jon M as God guided his spirit for him and I to discuss your plan at Nats in TN.

Kudos to you, Redemptiom sis!

I faithfully declare at least Nats 2017 at a church or school in FL co-hosted by Tim H, Steve K, and Ken S (for his huge comeback after a 10 yr hiatus). Yes!!!  :amen: :amen:
