I hate to be the bad guy, but I also think that some people say that things got lost in the mail when they never even sent them in the first place. I have noticed that certain people on these boards seem to lose cards in the mail often. That is more than coincidental to me. We do have a trade references thread that I would recommend people view before making major trades with someone you have not traded successfully with before. I also would check their trade threads for comments like "cards received." I also would recommend that we all get in the habit of making those kinds of posts (rather than just PMing) so that the references can be verified quickly.
It would be probably be healthy and helpful to have that kind of stickied thread here.

Literally over a thousand. I've only had one package legitimately lost in the mail. I have seen packages mysteriously take weeks. It's not common but it does happen.
Btw does any one know how long it takes to get something back that has been lost in the mail? I have sent packages that have been lost but I never gotten one back before
