'payment owed' isnt a personal transaction?

That is for non-goods payment (i.e. I fixed your car, so you owe me $100).Wow, I wouldn't have guessed that. Not the first thing I learned recently.I too purchased from Chandler, and never received my cards. My payment was $58. I have bounced back and forth (clueless about "payment owed") with payment methods and was lucky to have sent the cash as a normal purchase payment. However, I won't know for a few days whether or not I will get my refund from the paypal claim. Also, I do know FOR A FACT that there are members on these boards that hang out with Chandler outside of the boards (in real life). I would say you have a responsibility to talk to Chandler regarding these matters. Please please help us out.On a side note, if Chandler fails to fix this and paypal has to refund my money (or fails to refund my money), then paypal will block him from using thier services and ebay pretty much ever again. And i am almost certain you have to sign up for paypal with a social security number, so they will REALLY block him. I doubt being blocked from paypal, ebay, half.com, and all the other paypal/ebay companies is worth $100..... just something to keep in mind. There's also a good chance paypal will get in touch with his bank anyway...Patiently hoping Chandler steps up--Nick

also, just because you were blocked from using paypal doesnt mean you do not still have access to ebay. you can still use propay, moneybookers, etc as an alternative payment/purchase method.
fyi- you are only supposed to have multiple if you use one for personal and one for business (to my knowledge)...btw- when was the last time you signed up for a paypal account?Nick

The last time I signed up for a pay pay was this april. However I just checked there registration page and no SSN is required. Just address and phone number which can be easily faked. And when you think about it it makes sense. Paypal is not just limited to the US and if you aren't from the US you dont have a Social Security Number

Credit Cards do need a social security number so your credit report can be updated
I just looked up CJS's posts, and it appears that he very rarely posts on the boards here. He posted in Jan of 2009, then in Sept of 2010, then in July of 2011. However, I think he's pretty regular at the TX tournament scene. Before getting all worked up about him, I would try sending a PM to tcmgoingon60 who runs the tournaments down there. He can probably get in touch with Chandler much faster than anything on these boards.I know its been a few weeks, but sometimes people are just really slow sending stuff. I wouldn't give up hope yet on these trades.
I PM'd him about a week ago, but all he said was that he wouldn't see him till mid-september... not much help there
