Also keep in mind that if your son is only 6yrs old, you might want to keep the game really simple at first while he is learning. For example, you could only play with characters and enhancements without any special abilities at first, and completely leave out artifacts, fortresses, covenants, curses, sites, and weapon-class stuff. And keeping everything one color is also a good idea. Then gradually start adding in special abilities one at a time (banding, then discard, then capture, etc.) Finally start adding in the other card types. If you go slow, he should be fine. I hope you really enjoy playing together. I know that I do with my 7-year old daughter.
On the flipside, I have a pretty smart 6 yr old....teaching him chess, and he's picking it up quick. I like Redemption to teach him more critical and creative thinking.
I learned at 7/8 does that make me smart?(Of course I thought doms could be used twice but one rule mistake isn't bad for like 7 right?) Oh BTW 6 1/4 is amazing for G/H.
