Selling Some Limited (I Believe) Cards

Found a stack of these cards at a thrift store the other day, and I had no idea what these were initially.

I like to try my hand at eBay selling, and I love selling games, board games, and card games, so when I saw a stack of cards I couldn't resist.

Now I did check out the huge PDF that has all of the cards w/pictures, and it seems I have cards from the A/B set. I checked what I had against the price list over on Covenant Games but found that the Spreadsheet didn't have an A/B starter category, so I beleive that means I have the Unlimited cards. Here's an image of some of the cards.

Cards appear to be in lightly played condition, not much scruff or anything around the edges. Either that or they were played with in sleeves only.

Spoiler: Card List (hover to show)

Going off of the list on Covenant Games that means this stack would be valued at about $49.95.

Am I right with my math? Do I have the correct set? Would I sell the lot for that amount or would I go lower?

I'm relatively new to trading with this game - again I literally found out about it the other day. I think it's pretty cool and tbh I wish I found it back during my more religious days - I would've loved to buy this game and show it to the youth kids!

Any input (or offers) are appreciated. I just want to make sure I've got my verses right before I go out and try to sell them y'know? I like to do things by the book and be a proper seller.

Thanks in advance!

Hate to bring The bad news but these cards practically worthless.  This game isn’t like Pokémon or Magic where the oldest cards have value.

This games values almost exclusively depend on playability, rarity and recency.  To be honest most players would give those cards away or literally stick them in a box, never to be seen again.

I understand the values assigned by retailers but if you ask them I’d bet they haven’t sold any of those in years and years.

magic's the same way TBH. The only good old cards are the more rarer ones.

I mean, I figured they weren't much, as the bulk of them were commons. So either this was someone's lot they took the good cards out of to sell, or it's just some old random collection.

Ah well, I only paid a couple dollars for them. Thanks for the insight!

I would agree with jbeers assessment. I do believe those are from the Limited run, as there is no Cactus Game Design, Inc. copyright below the Illustrators Name. I use these cards for the only youngest players starting (not yet or just barely reading) and it is more of building decks for kids to match brigades and go through basics turns with.

I support https://www.yourturngames.biz/ for my card needs and trade pricing. I would encourage you to definitely look in to Redemption to play as it has plenty of depth, strategy and fun factor and is celebrating being around 25 years. That would make it one of the longest, still running CCG around.

And welcome to the boards NikoLinni. You are definitely in the right place for all things Redemption.

Godspeed,
