Title: Collection on eBay
Post by: YourMathTeacher on January 20, 2013, 08:58:25 AM
There is a huge Redemption collection on eBay, with a Buy it Now of $50. 1600 cards. From the pictures I would guess they have the Factory Set, but you could ask the Seller to be sure. There are Warriors cards in the pictures:

I would recommend asking the seller where he got all the cards because it doesnt look like a factory set to me. The factory set includes Blue Packs to Warriors and this dude has Angel Wars, 2nd Edition, Kings, Apostles and Pats in there.

For the sheer number of cards, having Warriors cards as well as the others is more difficult to come by. They may indeed just be a player/collector from long ago, but the wording of the description seems to indicate that they know very little about the game.

With that said, I would still contact the seller to ask how they came about the collection, and if any part was from the Factory Set. It's better to ask questions, then to guess and be wrong.  ;D

Just a heads up...I just looked at the collection and the buy it now option seems to have been removed.

I think there's definitely a 2nd edition starter in there, given there's the second edition rule book and c/d dominants. That's probably also what he meant by "full set."

I suppose it could be a factory set, but I really don't think so just given the card distribution he listed.

BIN's are automatically removed once the auction has a bid on it, unless the auction has a reserve.

That would explain it. I don't often sell...or do much in ebay.

If you are interested in the ArchAngels comics, I have the complete set still in a box. The box is beat up, but it's still plastic-wrapped so I know it's never been opened. I could send you a picture if it's something you would be interested in buying.

Have you ever read one?
If so are they to mature for 10 yr old. I saw them online, read the description and wondered if the theme was to mature.

It's been a long time since I've read them so I honestly cannot remember. Lots of spiritual warfare (obviously) including depictions of demons. I'll find the box to see if there's a recommended age level and let you know.
