Is the PC expansion worth investing in?

I was looking at the cards on Land of Redemption, and noticed there are some really good cards in the set itself.  But is the PC set overall worth investing in, or should I skip that one?

I actually really like the PC set. The Colossae church represented in it are very good cards, as well as the armor of God, Roman ECs and related cards, and the ultra rare Silly Women. And it's only about 93 cards as opposed to 129+ cards so it's a more easily obtainable expansion in some regards.

The Persecuted Church is a great set!! I bought the whole thing and had a blast with a lot of the cards in it!

Just sayin, it's a super set! Definitely recommend it! Plus, the new Paul promo legitimizes a lot of the churches competitively!

If you don't feel comfortable spending that kind of cash get one display box. Or get two boxes and it'll still be cheaper than a whole set AND you'll have a bunch of extra cards for your kids and playgroup, and you can trade for any few you might be missing.

I think your view might be a little skewed based on my opinion on the box packs.  The PC Cards are super strong and some are must haves for some of the particular styles.  Musicians do work with Music Leader (just ask the Dunlap guys).  As for the set, what I'm doing is opening Cloud and Early Church and trading for these because I don't like the other cards in the boxes.  But if you want to get a couple of boxes then you will get cards for your playgroup.  But again, the extras from the other sets are stronger.

Definitely get 2 boxes (if that's an option) before you spend $250 on the whole set. You'll get plenty of rares to trade for any rares or commons you might miss and you'll probably have 2 of the 3 Ultra-rares.

While most of the extra cards in PC are not terribly great, (as CrashFach mentioned) there are Warrior rares included, a few of which are really good.

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?
