OK, it has been two weeks, and I told all of you that I would wait until now to describe my predicament in greater detail.  On 2/20 SHRIMPOLI agreed to trade me his Destruction of Nehushtan for my Priests King of Tyrus, and we exchanged addresses.  Even though he is a "new member", he had made a lot of posts since he joined in November and I of course considered him trustworthy.  I sent him a pm the next day that his card was on its way.  On 2/22 he sent me a pm saying that my card would go in the mail the next day.  That next day would have been Tuesday, 2/23.

On March 3rd, 8 days after he was supposed to have mailed it, I was growing a little concerned, so I sent a pm saying that the DON had not arrived - please advise.  I received no reply.  It should be noted, if our time stamps are correct, that the site shows my message being sent at 1:29 pm on March 3rd, and Shrimpoli's profile shows him last active at 4:36 pm on March 3rd.

Two days later (3/5), still having no reply, I sent another message asking if there were any problems and asking what address he had sent the card to.  To this date I have never received a word from SHRIMPOLI.  

A few days ago I asked all of you if this was "normal", and received mixed responses, but most agreed that the lack of any reply, even now, is "suspect".  

So I am asking the following:  1)  SHRIMPOLI, if you are out there, PLEASE reply!  First off, I pray that you are OK and haven't suffered some kind of trajedy.  If you decided not to send the card, or you changed your mind, fine.  But in this case please mail me back my KOT.  2)  If you are a friend or fellow player of SHRIMPOLI can you please ask him what is going on?  3)  Barring a successful resolution to this trade deal, what can be done to "warn" other players out there?

Again, I never wanted to air this "dirty laundry" and/or embarrass anyone, but I felt I had been more than patient.  I certainly never expected to be taken advantage of when trading cards from a Bible/Christian-based card game  Thanks for any help that you can offer.

I traded with him recently and it took the better part of 2-3 weeks to receive my cards.  I imagine if that is the case for everyone than he probably waits till he receives them and then sends them.  Odd that he hasn't replied to your PM's though....I would give him another week.  It always stinks being busted..

Yes I had to wait about a week or to till i got his cards as well.

Has this ben resolved yet?  Who here knows Shrimpoli in person?

Thanks, but why should another pm be sent?  If he logged in on 3/19, he would have seen his messages, right?  I guess I can send another one.  Just frustrated.  Thanks for the advice.

Well, that's the main idea behind the various trading references threads.  But asking around can't hurt.

I understand your frustration.  It isn't likely, but perhaps he missed the last PM.

That would not explain why he logged on March 19th without saying anything.

I just think that now we need to move this thread to the prayer forum. Shrimpoli should now constantly be in our prayers. this whole situation to me is just sad.
