Cactus Game Design Message Boards

Hi folks - I just dug my old Redemption collection out of a closet and this seemed to be the most active place to look for interested parties. I have not played Redemption or kept up with the rules in many, many years. I have no idea if anyone would be interested in my cards, so this is really to gauge interest. I absolutely want to offload them if possible, preferably the whole lot or the remainders will just get pitched.

I believe I have a lot of original cards, though from looking at the price list from Three Lions Gaming those don’t seem to go for much. Bummer. I really thought old Abby the Destroyer would be highly sought after.

I did notice that some of the Lost Souls, Lamb cards, Reaper cards, and Rainbow(?) cards seem to fetch a decent price, so I’m assuming those will be the most sought after.

I think that puts me over $200 just for these cards. Honestly, my brain hurts at this point so I won’t calculate that out. I’m staring at piles and piles of cards that I would really like to see someone use.

Any interest? Any collectors interested in everything I’ve got? Pretty much everything is in great condition. If someone is interested I’ll go through and note the quality of each card if necessary. Really, I’m looking to get these off my table as painlessly as possible.

I would also consider a trade for some recent Warhammer: Invasion cards, or Game of Thrones LCG cards.

Basically if a card doesn't have a special ability it's worthless in today's meta so you more than likely won't be able to sell those. Unfortunately I think that eliminates almost all the cards from the original set. You might be able to unload them in bulk to collectors (just so they have the original set) but it's not going to be for very much.

Thanks for the responses, guys. I just looked at the 3LG price list for anything $1 or more and listed it.

Took a look at Schaef's store but didn't see much I would be after. I may still donate them to the storehouse, but my local game store has a sale coming up in which customers can sell old games. Might just drop them there for $5 and hope I can make someone's day.

Shame the old cards aren't still used, mostly for the nostalgia factor. I still remember getting Beast from the Sea from a booster and flipping out.

Before you donate these, I would be really interested in picking this set up!  I'm looking for some of the old dominants and things you have!
