eh, as tempting as it is, i'd say give them to stefferweffer. it's fair. first come first serve, and he's willing to pay what you were asking

LBJfreak...even though you might get a little more than $22 if you do it auction style, I would do the deal that stefferweffer offered for $22 + fees. It's in your best interest to not go back on a deal once you have put the offer out there and someone accepts it. Obviously if both parties agree to back out, it's no big deal but a good reputation as a buyer/seller/trader is far more valuable than a few extra bucks for one deal.

Just a thought, not intending to be critical.  :)

I disagree with the premise of this post. LBJ made an offer and stefferweffer tried to undercut it. Therefore, he did not reneg on the deal. Only after several others were willing to pay the original offer did stefferweffer make a full offer.

LBJ lowered his offer price considerably from his previous offer ($65 I believe) probably because he had no offers. However, I think he simply lowered it too much. In retrospect, he may now realize he could have gone down to $40 or so before dropping into the twenties.

I think LBJ should be allowed to either offer it auction style or increase his asking price, since stefferweffer started the haggling in the first place. There is no good reason for LBJ to not get more money for cards that are worth more than he will be getting.

that's very true, although whoever gets/got it no matter whether it was steffer or the 2nd guy, still ultimately agreed to the price advertised. if it didn't go to steffer, it would have gone to the next guy that agreed to pay the advertised price

i agree with you though, that he could have gotten more for sure. I don't know how much, but yes. he did what an honest salesman would though, and honored his advertised price :)

Good point, but I think he's already made his decision.  Though I'd like those cards, there's no hard feelings if they go to steffer
