Despite the claims of many that Goliath will be pure, unbridled power, the fact that Manny is already in widespread use, plus the fact that he has so many support cards to make him ultra-good tipped the scales in his favor. Magic Charms, Two Thousand Horses, and Gates of Jerusalem make Manny a force to be reckoned with, moreso than Goliath's ability to shut down everything. Is it because people haven't used him yet?
