I still can't believe that Assyrian Archer is the best Pale Green EC.  This would be a closer contest if Women as Snares or Prince of this World had won.

I think Assyrian Archer represents PG well.  Unfortunately, that brigade (aside from a few multi-colored magicians) is starting to fall behind.

This vote was a tough call for me to make because of how similar the two combatants are.  Ultimately, recursion won my vote...that is when I saw how lopsided the match-up was.

They're both generic
They're both low numbers for easy initiative
They both have banding abilities
They both have a great secondary ability
They both are a crucial linchpin to their themes

So I had to compare their differences, one can be recurred with Gates from bottom of the deck, the other is warrior class for horses.  Recur wins.
