Sam is only the better hero in T2. Moses rescues way more souls than Samuel in T1.

Very true, I played a game the other day where I was down 4-0, but pulled Moses. He just sighed as beefcake walked on by for 4 rescues in a row, and I ended up winning.

If that had been the only time, I wouldn't vote for Moses, but he saves my bacon more than you'd think

I voted for Samuel for a few reasons. First, there's better FBTN options than Moses these days; while the Aaron/Moses band is potent, Ira and Beneniah both have multiple heroes who can band to them, with some very solid banding chains being formed as a result. On the other hand, Sam also offers some great banding options (he can band to five heroes that are found in a lot of Sam decks off the top of my head), and of course, he's a potential +6 or +9 (or even as much as a +15).

Count my Moses vote as another anti-Sam vote. Don't get me wrong, I like Moses, but I dislike all these Sam decks out there even more.

My Sam deck was a Red/Purple/Teal/Gold (without Ahimilek), and is now a Green/Purple/Teal/Gold. That's a bit of creativity.

I actually like Moses better here.

Samuel is awesome as part of an overall deck. But Moses wins LSs all by himself.

Sam fits in a variety of decks, but so does Moses.

If HHI (common anti-meta card) is turned on, Sam can't even enter battle, but Moses works just fine

I actually made one once. It had stuff like Aaron (Di), and Consider the Lilies, lost Coin, and Moses & Elders to spam Transfig.

I'm just trying to make it clear that, if Sam should lose this vote, the only spread offenses that people are allowed to complain about are those with Moses in them.
