Wandering Spirit is good, sure, but Spirit of Temptation has far better banding options and combo potential.

Wandering Spirit is basically good for Panic Demons. And everybody playing with those are complete noobs who know nothing about Redemption.  ::)

Exactly. Why would you start with SoT when you can start with WS to SoT?
WS wins this hands down.

I voted for Wandering Spirit just so in future rounds if I can figure out how to post card pics, I won't have to stare at SoT's ugly mug. Otherwise it's pretty much a toss-up. SoT has great banding options and a few nifty combo plays, but WS affords a demon defense effective territory protection vs. an AoC and can band to Trembling Demon for an infiblock vs. an attack of 7/4 or bigger.

Wandering Spirit is basically good for Panic Demons. And everybody playing with those are complete noobs who know nothing about Redemption.  ::)

I couldn't agree more. On a completely unrelated note, Andrew, I was curious as to what place you took at the T2 only? No reason, just curious.

...if I can figure out how to post card pics...

1. Use Zardek's search cards thingy
2. Right click on the image that pops up and copy the URL of that image
3. ???
4. Profit. Oh and you get to post the picture too.

I got pwnt by the draw against Tim the last round. I noticed you didn't take first though, even though you beat Nathan. What noob beat you again? Weren't they using one of Craig's decks?

Granted, but WS would be Panic Demons without SoT. SoT is far more important that WS.

WS can also band to:

Fallen Angel to bring non-generic demons in.
SWS
Unclean Spirit / Lying Spirit (who existed long before SoT...)

Too much work. I liked it when it was just "#Cardname". If any other mod who can modify my posts wants to they can. But everyone knows the cards here by now anyway.

SoT is uninterruptable. Fallen Angel is lulzy, Legion would be the better option, but because of your defensive choices you've already lost. SWS is legit, but SoT is just such an easier splash with Worshipping Demons and SSS.

SoT->Egyptian Magicians=play first Wonders Forgotten, Forgotten History, Worshiping Demons, Suicidal Swine Stampede, Failed Objective or Death of Unrighteous. The best Wandering Spirit can do is band to SoT who then proceeds to be awesome.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

And if you want him to continue to be awesome, you start that band with WS because then you can use GoH to do it again next turn without your opponent being able to snipe in territory.  WS also has much more options, and WS + SWS is infinitely better than WS + SoT.

WS is definitely better for the CBN band and the recursion.

SoT cries at FBTN, while WS still has many options.  SoT is not the only (nor the best I'd argue) band you can use with WS.

SoT loves the FBTN as long as he's the one making it. WS can still only go to Panic Demon for FBTN, and if you're playing Panic Demons you've already lost. SoT can band to your opponents characters and wreck them with SSS.

You missed the entire point of what I said. Temptation cannot deal with FBTN offenses, while Wandering can.  And while Panics can have CBN banding, since when did they have FBTNCBNB?  You're just making stuff up now :P

You didn't get what I was saying. I was saying WS CAN'T handle FBTN except for Panic Demons (which are terrible). I probably mis-phrased that, but whatever.

First, you seem to think that only Panic Demons are generic.  There are quite a few generic demons, and they are not all small ;)

Second, you said that SoT loves FBTN as long as he is causing it...so that means you intend to band to Saphira or Job's Wife?  Haven't seen them in a competitive deck in awhile...

Other than SoT, SWS, and Foul Spirit. Other options are pretty bad.

No, I intend to band to Gomer to KoT or to Mannaseh to KoT or a bunch of other options.

Ah, okay, so much more reliant on having a lot of cards (since you need KoT and if you use Mannaseh he'd need Gates too) to deal with it instead of just starting with a CBN band.

WS has much more options vs FBTN, and when it's not FBTN he bands into all sorts of great combos and, when you're discarded, sends everyone to the bottom of deck to start over again.  SoT can't do that.

What does WS have against FBTN?

SoT doesn't need to put people to the bottom of deck. His niche is play first and stealing your opponents defense.

Neither one of them has a prayer against FbtNB. That's just moot. And if you have WS or SoT in a deck, you're going to have KoT, who does a fine job going up against FbtN. Neither one of these characters' role is to stop FbtNB, so that's pretty much a moot point.
