Captain.

FBTN? Yes please. I mean, recursion is great and all, but this isn't even close

Most of the time you want FBTN, captain is the 3rd best option in the deck TSA and Moses both seem to be better options.

Gabriel turn 1 plus striking Herod can rip old flex-bone if I remeber correctly and that deck placed at nats 3 years in a row?

The utility stuff that now exists in silver makes Gabriel's recur incredible.  I'm going gab here.

I can't recall getting wrecked by Gabriel + Striking Herod... But what do I know :P

Captain > Moses because of Capture considerations, also, multiple band options.

A lot of evil banding is CBN these days so Strong Angel doesn't offer a huge advantage over Captain other than being able to rescue the N.T. Only LS.

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

It never happened I just remeber seeing that someone mentioned it coulda gave that deck trouble.

@justin what CBN banding are you referring to? Gomer- been around awhile, manny with gates- been around awhile, wandering spirit- been around awhile the only new one coming to mind is Messenger of Satan (CBP) so unless your hinting at the new set i don't see why strong is a better FBTN option?

I just have an affinity for gab, I tend to take him over captain in most decks maybe that's why I can't seem to buy a win lately :-)

That's exactly what I'm saying...TSA isn't a better FBTN option than Captain because of all the CBN banding, so you might as well have a FBTN Hero that allows you to band. I'll take Simeon/Captain in a Judges deck or Jacob/Captain in a Genesis deck over TSA any day. In decks that are more Silver heavy, I'm probably using all 3 (Captain/Gabriel/TSA).

There aren't that many options is my point. (For CBN banding)
Simeon and Jacob are not counted in voting for silver hero's. :-) not to mention Simeon then stops jair and captain then stops ben and zeb.  Looks like people disagree with me but I'll stick with gab over captain

There is so much more non-CBP/CBN banding out there than there is CBN.  Negating banding is going to work against nearly all bands, but not negating it leaves you open to a lot of bigger blocking bands.  I still don't quite get that point.

Captain only stops Zeb.  Ben is only impacted by non genesis human heroes.
