Oh, Chenanaiahhiaiah is FANTASTIC.  Even without his band, this dude is incredible with that protection, and when you add in that he can band to musicians to pull things out of discard, make musical enhancements CBN, or ignore royalty (King David, woo!), he is hands-down the winner here.

Vote: Isaiah's bro Chenanaiah

EDIT: Whoops, forgot to put the vote...

Hmm... Cheneniah is pretty good but I think he lacks support as well as splashability. As much as it's cool that he can band to David and Moses (and then kick Moses out) he's really not all that special and needs some good back up. Especially with most enhancements that your opponents plays not actually harming Cheneniah, his protection isn't all that amazing. Salome on the other hand is N.T., female, TGT hero, ignores ECs with weapons which can be amazing to stop their play first, and can get out TGT or The New Covenant (or any other N.T. covenant) again right after using it.

Considering NT females and musicians share several of their support cards, and musicians have other power besides (including the ability to recur Magnificat and other enhancements), plus being able to splash him in with King David in any deck for a great band, I'd disagree with both points.  It seems that the splashability of NT white is much less, for certain.

Chenaniah lacks splashability? Salome pretty much HAS to be in a TGT deck. Chenaniah is an awesome hero with a ton of great banding options and doesn't need TGT backing him up. It was also in the second place nationals deck this year. Salome wasn't even in the top 8 (this is a random statement that I don't know if true or not)

So close felt i needed to do a in depth break down.

Raw Power(ability to win by himself) Salome: Sure Chenaiah has more numbers but Salome can ignore Manny with 2k horses and some other dangerous Characters.

Splashabilty(how fer card does it need around it) Tie: on this on. Salome needs Some form of TNT and Chenaiah is a Musician.

Support given(How support does it give) Salome: Though Chenanaiah Protects from the next evil Enhancement.  Salome Gets out TGT and Can keep Searching for the New Covenant. Got give this one to Salome.

Supportability (how much support it has) Salome. She has TGT nothing more can really be said.

Tactual Qualities(Do they have more than one use) Chenanaih wins this one as Salome really is only good for her Search. and The MMOJ band.  But Chenanaih can start a band as well kill and opponents Battle winner.

Salome wins 3-1-1

While I don't know about the exact stats on the placement of any deck with Salome, I do not know of any of the top decks at Nats containing her.  I do know that Chenanaiah was.

So...

Raw Power(ability to win by himself) Salome: Sure Chenaiah has more numbers but Salome can ignore Manny with 2k horses and some other dangerous Characters.

I don't believe any of the top decks used 2K Horses in T1 this year, or evil weapons in general. Chen doesn't just have numbers, he also protects himself (and others) from the next evil enhancement, meaning cards like Plot don't stop a rescue attempt. Chen wins this category hands down for me.

Splashabilty(how fer card does it need around it) Tie: on this on. Salome needs Some form of TNT and Chenaiah is a Musician.

Salome needs a full TGT deck around her to be even remotely useful. Chen needs King David, which many people are already using right now, and is effective by himself for the reason stated above.  Again, Chen wins hands down.

I see Chen winning 4 of the 6 categories you offered up there.

Well thinking it over I can agree with Raw power Going to Chenanaiah.

How ever I really do not see how Chenanaiah has more Splashabilty then Salome. His ability may stop the first evil Enhancement then he is a siting duck if he does not have enhancements. He Needs a deck with David or Issiah. Salome can be In NT white or garden Disciples.

so the score stands 2/1/2 So now I have to think how to break the tie.  :-\

Salome needs more support to win battles. T1 Chenaniah is great, even if you don't have enhancements. T1 Salome will probably lose without enhancements. Chenaniah doesn't require you to be playing a TGT deck to be useful, but can still be useful in one. Salome needs TGT.
