2. King David
11/11 Purple (Prophet, King of Israel, Musician)
May not be blocked by any member of any royal family.
Versus
7. Simon the Zealot
7/4 Purple/Red (Disciple)
Negate and discard Rome and a N.T. Idol. First Strike. Protect your hand and deck from opponents' cards while this Hero remains in play.

David, too many kings in decks that cannot block.
-
Since people play hand control know, I will have to go with
Vote: Simon

While King David is pretty cool, I'd have to go with Simon as he's awesome in stopping RBD, Nazareth, and so many other devastating cards. King David is decent but he's not the best.
Vote: Simon the Zealot

How many times have I laughed maniacally after saying "no" when my opponent does something as simple as say "I get to look at your hand"? Many, many times, and I remember them fondly.

King David.
-
Vote: Simon Wins on just about every front.
-
King David for me, ignores a huge portion of EC's by himself and has access to TToD and Temple Dedication for Protect.
-
King David ignores half of the evil characters in the meta and is in a fantastic brigade. He can be thrown in a Disciples deck or The Deck without too much hassle too. One of the best heroes in the game.
-
King David is easily in my top 4 characters, and may edge out Oak as number one. Going with him.
-
David wins games, not just battles.
And Simon is a glorified protect fort that cost you a rescue/battle challenge. Not worth it in T1 IMO. If your playing Simon your hoping to sneak him out of one battle to never use him again where as David is never a bad choice.
-
Yes always play King David over Simon. Always. Do not bother using Simon... ever. The world will be a better place trust me ;D
-
David is MUCH more all around than Simon.
Vote: King David
