3. Isaiah
7/8 Green (prophet) X = Your number of Isaiah Angels in play
Protect purple Kings from opponents. Search discard pile for a good Isaiah card and place it on deck to draw X. Good Isaiah cards cannot be negated.
Versus
6. Simeon
7/6 Green (Prophet)
If you have not played Son of God this game, protect Simeon from discard. May band to a N.T. prophet. Cannot be negated by an evil card.

Vote: Isaiah
He's just to good.

Same, Isaiah has whole decks based on him, Simon is used in decks but not as the focus point.
-
Not even the better Simeon, but yes, Isaiah is a beast.

As much as I like Simeon, he's just not as speedy or effective. While yeah, Simeon's protected from d/c and is CBN by an evil card, Isaiah is easily recurrable and is CBN by any card as well as making most of his best enhancements CBN.

Isaiah.

I am not even going to bother comparing

Initially Isaiah seems like the obvious choice but what makes Isaiah work, his call, live coal, angels ect Simeon just works.
I'm gonna go against the grain and say Simeon.
-
I can't believe these two get matched in the first round...I would honestly have a hard time picking between these two for the #1 seed in Green.
-
Agreed, both are in my Isaiah deck...you wouldn't believe the number of rescues I can still pull off with Seraph, Simeon, Anna bands...Isaiah requires too many cards to get started...plus now with Foreign Wives and Golden Cherubim can actually hurt you more than help you...

This is precisely why I voted for Simeon. You have to build a deck around Isaiah. Simeon kinda just chuckles and wins stuff.

The power to protect from discard is insignificant next to the power to instarecur CBN battlewinners.
-
Who needs battle winners when you win battles on your own?

Exactly. Negating ECs is half the battle (or all of it in some cases). Therefore, Isaiah is much better.

So Isaiah needs a lot of support to do the same sort of thing.

Isaiah needs exactly one support card to be excellent; you don't need to build a deck around him, you just need to build a deck where he fits (which is pretty much every decent OT deck right now). Simeon might edge him out, except he's more or less useless after SoG is dropped. I vote Isaiah.
