Negate play abilities. You may search deck for King Saul or David and put it in play to draw 2. May band to a male I Samuel Hero. Cannot be negated.

If all your Heroes are O.T., you may draw 2 or search deck or discard pile for Judge's Seat. Protect O.T. Heroes from decrease. Cannot be interrupted.

Jair is very much underrated IMO as a Judges player.  When it comes down to it, I am much more often going to want to Auto-Jair for a D4 (CBN/CBI, respectively) to start any battle, and I will still have fantastic initiative.

Sam's biggest boon from my experience as a T2 player is not his search-to-draw, and it is certainly not his band (which can be fun but hurts very often): it is his negation of play abilities.  How many Horses has he stopped from killing me?  How many times has Words not been able to chain, and I can kill it with a CBN Edict (to also end the battle)?  Too many to count.

Against some defenses, I am limited to rescuing with Sam (or Moses) most of the time.  Against everything else, and in T1, I much prefer to go in with Jair.

Vote: Jair (GASP! two votes for Jair over Sam?!)

Jair, /w judges seat and his draw 2 CBI, he is my favorite, especially if you use AUtO to exchange with him.

Even with all the things going in Sam's favor, including CBN access to Edicts, let's be honest:  In a deck that has AUTO, Jair, and no NT heroes, I'm attacking AUTO/Jair each turn for the predictable CBN/CBI D4.  And he has initiative to play great enhancements:  Edict, DD, and SaS. 

Raw Power(ability to win by himself) They are both so far form this kind of card i am calling it a tie.

Splashabilty(how fer card does it need around it) Sam goes in more decks.

Support given(How support does it give) Sam may give more support to more brigades but the quality of Jair wins out.

Supportability (how much support it has) Jair has Judges seat. But Sam is two brigades and HT.

Tactual Qualities(Do they have more than one use)  Sam draws and bands while Jair realy only gets our judges seat.

Jair is a repeatable draw. Sam is not. Jair grabbing judges seat is the absolute worst play you can make bro. I voted Jair.

I voted for Jair, but I would like to change that vote to Samuel. When votes are being tabulated, can someone make sure that that is noted?

Jair is a phenomenal character, but Samuel is, in my opinion, more useful. In many decks he still has the D2 that Jair has, with the combined benefit of Edict. I've always heavily played gold offenses, and there's nothing like having Samuel when you have Edict and Deb's Directive in hand.
