Sabbath breaker is part of the meta defense and has a one-time D3, but that's about it.

CBN Evil Characters that can hold Horses are monstrous. Furthermore, if he's ever Discarded, you just get a powerful Hero in his place. Namaan.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Sabbath Breaker is a better splash, but in this meta Namaan is a beast.

What we have are two cards that are really powerful in the current meta.  Sabbath breaker because he draws, and Naaman becasue of CBN enhancements and draw + play-first potential.

Naaman's main downside is that he's a Syrian but I don't really have a problem with horses he can drop baalam's disobedience, gold shield, night raid, or what have you, and have that enhancement be CBN.

For versatility I like Saabath breaker, but Naaman has so much potential that I have to side with him.

Plus I <3 Syrians.

I've played hundreds of decks with Sabbath Breaker this season, and probably 15-20 unique decks (not unique players) with Sabbath Breaker with the rule changes. I've played zero decks with Namaan (in T1) this season. That makes the vote pretty cut and dry to me. If Namaan is so good, people would be using him.

Namaan is the better Evil Character, SB helps speed more.

I voted for Namaan because a lot of people picked Sabbath Breaker in brackets.

haha, I see how it is...  ;)

I picked Naaman in the brackets, becasue I think that he's the better character.

Consider this: on Naaman, horses can't be negated by Sam or FBTNB.  Nor can his O.T. Enhancements.

On sabbath breakers side, he's negated by all sorts of things, FBTN, RBD, Ishmiah/John/other negate SA heroes.

So in the current meta, Naaman is actually a better character.  I think anyone using gray should include him, especially if you use Red on the offense.

Yup, that's why I said folks who use Red should include him.  :)

Yeah, definitely going with Naaman on this one.  SB is only really good for a single block, and he usually fails to do anything except give you 3 cards.  Naaman on the other hand can use Chariots + actual enhancements, make them CBN, and win battles plus draw.

And yes, a Red OT-enhancements-CBN character is ridiculous.  Don't forget you can also convert him with Holy Grail (or other cards) to any brigade you want, and he still grants that CBN status.  And he can be banded in by Armorbearer, always fun.

Naaman is definitely a better EC...and hero too :D
