Immunity isn't that great with so many interrupts like there are now. SoT has CBI banding to a human and the other part of his special ability is pretty good.

I actually went with PotW since he is a stand-alone character, and becasue I include him in more decks than I do SoT.

Yes I love SoT's banding, but I usually get lucky with my draw of PotW (get him on turn 1 quite often) so that he's acctually useful for me.

Additionally PotW has stopped a lot of rescues before they even start.  Just seeing him in my territory is enough to make a lot of opponents cringe.

Except a majority of themes out there band now.  Red Warriors, TGT, Disciples, Prophets + Angels, Sam I Am, etc.  And as pointed out, you can just interrupt (or negate) the SA, and most good enhancements that see play do one or the other.

Spirit is amazing with a CBI band, small numbers for initiative if you want to use Stampede instead, and the bottom-deck hurts your opponent and can help you if you're running Orange with GoH.

This was true two, maybe three years ago. Nowadays, it just isn't the case.

Yes what you stat is true on the ROOT/Nats Meta.  However  the meta I play in is slightly less developed than the online meta, so Potw works a bit better.

For me what it comes down to is this, I've built several decks with PotW, but I've built only one deck that included SoT.

I still use PotW for this reason. However, I do think SoT is a lot better.
