I know what I said about Manasseh before, but there's no way Egyptian Magicians is better.
-
Manny is vastly overrated.
Sure he's got this cool little block, but not only is it A) Super Expensive it B) Isn't CBN unless Gates is out, so it never works anyway and C) Does nothing against banding

2kH and Plot. All I'm gonna say.

Not really that expensive when ultimately you want Manny in your d/c pile for the endgame anyway so Amon can start rocking. Who uses Manny without Gates...that's just silly. Banding is dealt with by Amon/Scattered.

That's exactly why he gets my vote

People who use him in a magicians defense that has no other kings of Judah... which means that he's not always used with King Amon.
But yeah, Egyptian Magicians is much better IMO. He's got better initiative, especially with a potential play/add to battle ability, he's got the Invoking Terror cycle, and when paired with Spirit of Temptation he can do wonders. I'm also partly biased, however, because I'm a T2 player and I think Egyptian Magicians is most definitely better in T2 but Manny may have a better shot in T1.
