Asahel, he fits nicely into many Judges or Warriors decks, and even though King David is a king, musician, and ignores a plethora of evil characters, Asahel choses the blocker or bands, and is a Giantslayer, which can be a very good combination in many different decks.
David (all 5 versions), Jonathan (6/6 no SA), Abishai (both versions), Sibbechai (both versions) and Elhanan (both versions).I believe that's all of them.*edit* checked our test notes and found that Caleb is not included.Quote from: Play Test NotesJoshua 15:14 says that Caleb "drove out" the descendants of Anak. As a T1 and T2 player, King David is just plain better. I love Asahel as much as the next Hobbit, but he simply isn't as good as KD.
King David
King David is in a better brigade, splashes better, fits better in decks where he isn't just a splash, and has a comparable ability (in my opinion).

He didn't mention Brown or those defenses at all, which leads me to believe that. Also, KoT, PotW, and others don't get used quite as much, so it wouldn't stop those defenses.
