OK, so I downloaded all 3 sets and the LackeyCCG from the website into a folder on my desktop.

What do you mean by "all 3 sets?"  Full, Update and Packs?  If you are installing from scratch all you need is Full. I am not sure what happens if you install Update over the top of Full. I don't think anything bad, but I have not tried it.

I have all 4 of those zip files on the main part, as well as an unzipped LackeyCCGWin.  Within the Lackey folder there is another folder listed LackeyCCG & _MacOSX.  Within the Lackey folder I have a plugin folder, within that folder I created a Redemption folder, in there I have the zipped Redemption folder as well as the unzipped one.

What does "as well as the unzipped one" mean?  Do you have a LackeyCCG/plugins/Redemption/Redemption folder or do you just have LackeyCCG/plugins/Redemption? Thigns should look like the latter.

You do not need to copy the zipped file in this directory.

What did I mess up?  Lackey shows the Redemption folder but won't let me open it.  I'm not use to this kind of stuff, so there is no telling where everything went wrong!

What does "but won't let me open it" mean?  In the dialog window named "Browsing:" are you clicking on the "Open directory..." button?  If so. that is not what you want. You want to highlight Redemption in the left-hand listbox, and then click on the "Choose" button. If there is some other issue, can you tell (or show) me what is happening on the Btrosing: dialog that appears when you click on the "Browse installed plugins to load one..." button?
