After much trouble shooting it seems this solution works for Mac OS Sierra from all the comments I can see. It should work on older Mac operating systems and some of the older Mac operating systems do not even need this command line to get Lackey working (from what I recall I got Lackey working on Mac OS Mavericks without needing to enter the command line solution listed by TheJambi).
However, for the newer Mac operating systems (High Sierra, Mojave, and Catalina. I have tested both High Sierra and Catalina but not Mojave) from what I can tell the solution listed by TheJambi does not work. Each time I tried to enter the command line in the Terminal it could not locate Lackey.
However, I was able to get Lackey running on the latest Mac OS Catalina by copying it from an old back up I had. It seems the issues kick in with downloading from the internet but doing an install from a USB drive works just fine.
All this to say if anyone wants to install Lackey on a Mac I would be happy to mail you a USB drive with Lackey on it and all you would need to do is drag it to your applications folder and it should work fine! You would just need to pay for the USB drive and shipping and then you can run Lackey on your Mac. I believe this should work on any modern Mac operating system.
